THE DETAILS

: • PROTECTION
Designed to protect your garments, these bags do not leech anything onto their contents. NOT suitable as a mailing satchel.

• SIZES, SEALS & DESIGNS
Seal with a fold-over flap and a peel-and-seal resealable adhesive strip.
Check the Sizing Guide for thickness, seals and design differences.
The pillowcase design does not have an adhesive strip.

• TRANSPARENCY
Slightly milky in color but transparent enough to read barcodes through.

• SHELF LIFE
Compostable packaging degrades over time, so we are only able to guarantee the performance and usability of these products for 6 months from date of purchase.

• MANUFACTURING IN ASIA?
If you need these bags at your point of manufacture in Asia, please select 'Rest of World' as your shipping country (in the top right of this page) and they will be sent directly from our distribution centre in China.
: • Made from completely biodegradable and compostable materials; corn starch, PLA (synthesised from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).

• This combination of materials is non-toxic and contains no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA).

• Certified free of GMO material.

• While these materials are biodegradable and compostable, they are not 100% renewable as the PBAT component is derived from petroleum-based materials. We are limited at the moment by the availability of suitable, sustainable raw materials that deliver the barrier and performance properties we need but are always testing resins made from an even greater amount of plant-based material – exciting times!

Softest bags ever

I have tried dozens of garment bags from poly to compost and these are by far the BEST. They are super soft, compostable and best of all easy to open so my customers don’t have to rip the bag open. Please never get rid of these!! :)

Great to use as a liner for packaging!

I’m using the the compostable bags as an extra internal protection for mailers. I’m really enjoying using them so far, they are thin but sturdy, which is great cause it doesn’t add too mich weight to your shipments. you can also reuse them easily as the adhesive in the opening flap stays good even if you open/close the bag multiple times.

Great liner

I thought I could ship in these but they’re too thin, they’re perfect for waterproofing a shipment though. Still recommend and love! My only point of improvement for the company - for a group dedicated to environmentalism, they use an excessive amount of cardboard and paper to pack and ship their products

Thanks for the feedback Bella. We use a 3rd party warehouse to ship our products in the US and will speak to them AGAIN about minimising the packaging used. It's not good enough.

Borah Teamwear is transitioning to "Worm Fodder" friendly

The Compostable Poly Bags are easy to work with. They do not seem to have the static that so many different bags have in them. I am assuming these bags must be a HOT commodity because I had been waiting for the S - 9.8 X 13.7" bags to come back in stock for quite a long time, BUT am very satisfied with the product.

Thanks Heather. Great to hear you're loving the feel of these - they are lovely to work with. We do have to be careful how many of them we keep in stock, because if we over-produce and don't sell them all, then they will start to break down and, well, that's just a waste ... And we don't do waste ;) Hence, why sometimes we might not have stock and there's a wait for more...
